Condensate control neutralises this acid and maintains the condensate and feed water in an alkaline condition<br />

The PH limits are 8.3 - 9.0 . For an average system e. g. 10-M</span><sup><span style="background-color: rgb(240,255,240)">3</span></sup><span style="background-color: rgb(240,255,240)">, the dosage is approximately 0.65 ltr / day .</span></span><br />

The amines pass over with the steam and have the dual function of elevating the pH of the steam/condensate and putting a protective micro film on the system pipe work.
