It can be used as a packer fluid or to adjust the density of other brine systems. It provides inhibition preventing the hydration and migration of swelling clays. <br />
Calcium bromide can be used with calcium chloride brines and dry calcium chloride to formulate non-damaging fluids of densities from 11.7 lbs/gal to 15.1 lbs/gal.</p>
