<em><span style="font-family:georgia,serif;"><span style="font-size:16px;">Thymolphthalein is used in disappearing ink, to make color-change bubbles, and as a pH indicator. It has an inky blue color and readily changes to its colorless form from exposure to air or carbon dioxide from breath.</span></span></em></p>
